Due to the prevailing difficulties in business and travel, arising from the global COVID-19 pandemic, the delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Eastern Africa has prepared some useful information for our partners to utilize for planning purposes.
A Message to Partners of the delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Eastern Africa
The Delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Eastern Africa with its service entity, AHK Services Eastern Africa Ltd., would like to reassure partners and customers that we remain available to provide our services during this time.
However, in good conscience and in line with the directives of the German and Eastern African governments concerning international travel and public safety, we have restructured our working procedure to reduce risks.
Our teams are presently working remotely but available and responsive on email via our contacts. However, a skeleton crew will be available at our offices both in Nairobi and Dar Es Salaam during working hours. Best to contact us via email.
Unfortunately, many of our upcoming events, business delegations and trainings have been reformatted to in-person or hybrid events to follow the regulations by the Kenyan government. Also to allow for ample time for control of the spread of the virus. Affected parties have been swiftly communicated to and will be alerted of new dates in due time.
We urge all our partners and clients to and reduce direct contacts to the absolute minimum. Should you require our support in a relevant capacity, please do not hesitate to reach out to us using the contact information below or known direct contacts:
