We regularly conduct Business Delegations for German Companies seeking to enter the Eastern Africa market or vice versa with the aim of giving you an on-the-ground perspective of the business environment.

Types of Business Delegations

Market Exploration Trip (12-20 participants)

As participants of the Market Reconnaissance (Markterkundungsreise), all German companies will be given the opportunity to present their products and/or services to selected East African private and public stakeholders during a full-day conference. Optionally b2b meetings will be arranged for the German participants already during the conference day. The remaining days of the business trip, AHK Services Eastern Africa Ltd. arranges group business meeting schedules for all German participants. At least one AHK employee permanently accompanies the group to all meetings and/or site-visits. In preparation for the trip, each participant receives an in-depth market study as well as a fact sheet on the target market(s). The maximum number of participants is limited to 20 German companies. Participating companies will pay a participation fee, which is based on company size and revenue.

Business Delegations (8-12 participants)

As participants of the Business Delegation trip (Geschäftsanbahnungsreise), all German companies will be given the opportunity to present their products and/or services to selected East African private and public stakeholders during a full-day conference. Optionally b2b meetings will be arranged for the German participants already during the conference day. The remaining days of the business trip, AHK Services Eastern Africa Ltd. arranges individual business meeting schedules for all German participants. Each German participant will be permanently accompanied by one AHK employee to all individual meetings and/or site-visits. In preparation for the trip, each participant receives an in-depth market study as well as a fact sheet on the target market(s). The maximum number of participants is limited to 12 German companies. Participating companies will pay a participation fee, which is based on company size and revenue. All upcoming Business Delegation trips are advertised regularly on our website.
